Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who specializes in providing compassionate, affirming, person-centered therapy to children (8+), teens, and young adults. Lauren creates a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions, process difficult experiences, and discover their own paths to healing and growth. 

Lauren has a passion for working with grief, trauma, and loss. In this work, she helps clients understand and navigate the complex emotions that arise from loss—whether it’s the death of a loved one/person, a traumatic experience, or the loss of a sense of self. Lauren is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages honor their grief while also finding hope and strength as they move forward in their lives.

Lauren also has extensive experience working with clients dealing with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Lauren’s approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and the belief that healing is a deeply personal and individualized process. Lauren utilizes an integrative approach that combines traditional talk therapy with creative and experiential techniques, including expressive arts, sand tray therapy, and mindfulness practices. These methods are particularly effective in helping clients express and process emotions that may be difficult to articulate with words alone.

Lauren believes that healing is a holistic and personal process, and she is dedicated to empowering clients in finding their voice and sense of agency. She works collaboratively with clients to develop a plan for care that feels most affirming and supportive to the individual’s unique goals. Together she and her client/(s) work towards healing. Whether through verbal processing, creative expression, or mindfulness practices, Lauren helps each client tap into their inner resources for healing and personal growth.

Rates:

• $150 per 50 minute individual session

• $170 per 50 minute family session

• Accepts private pay, sliding scale fees available on a first come first served basis
