Angelica is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate in the state of Texas and is under the supervision of Emily M. Price, LPC-S. Angelica is passionate in working with children (3+), adolescents, and young adults who are navigating life’s challenges and growing into their sense of self. Angelica strives to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients feel free to explore their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment.

Angelica approaches therapy from an integrative theoretical orientation which means that she uses theories and techniques tailored to the client and their presenting concerns. Foremost, she functions from a person-centered approach in hope to provide nonjudgment, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a safe space to honor each client’s unique experiences. She incorporates modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. She incorporates all creative elements that fall under the expressive arts umbrella including play therapy techniques and sandtray techniques to help clients process their experiences in developmentally appropriate and creative ways. These tools often allow young people to access and express emotions that may be difficult to verbalize, helping them build insight, resilience, and healthy coping skills.

Whether a person is facing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, identity exploration, grief, trauma, or school-related stress, Angelica sees each therapeutic relationship as a collaborative journey. She meets the clients where they are and honors their stories, trusting in their innate ability to move toward healing with the right support.
