Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She uses a compassionate, empathic approach with clients honoring the giftedness of each individual and considering it a privilege to offer therapeutic space for clients to process life issues. Laura adheres to a Person-Centered approach integrating modalities such as expressive arts, narrative therapies, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and talk therapy. Laura has extensive experience working with grief and trauma having provided counseling services at the Children’s Bereavement Center for almost two decades as staff and as an independent contractor. Laura specializes in working with adults experiencing bereavement, grief/trauma, women’s issues, and adjustment difficulties, Laura aspires for the therapeutic relationship to be one of genuineness, authenticity, and safety.

Rates:

• $150 per 60 minute individual session

• $130 per 45 minute individual session

• $150 per family or couples session

• Limited amounts of sliding scale spots available upon request
