Play Therapy

and Expressive Therapies

Developmentally Appropriate

Children do not always have the words to process their experiences, which can make it impossible to participate in traditional talk therapy. Because of this, children process what they experience at home, school, or in the community through their play.

Here and Now

Utilizing expressive and play therapies can bring problems you experience outside of session into the therapy room. The therapist will work with you through play or creation to process difficult experiences, gain insight into unhelpful patterns of behavior, and learn new, more helpful ways of interacting with yourself and others.

For All Ages

Many adults and teenagers may find benefit from techniques like art therapy and sandtray therapy. These expressive techniques allow you to connect with your inner child, work through perfectionism, and/or illustrate your experience when words just aren’t enough.
